He has been admitted to a private hospital off the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass in Kolkata.<\/p>\n<p>The senior leader of the Trinamool Congress complained of fever and developed some other symptoms of COVID-19 and got himself tested. He was admitted to the hospital as doctors suggested that he should not remain in home isolation.<\/p>\n<p>Several Trinamool Congress leaders have tested positive for COVID-19 earlier. Senior party leader and Falta MLA Tamonash Ghosh died from COVID. He fought for life for over a month. Another Trinamool Congress MLA \u2013 the public representative from Egra \u2013 Samaresh Das died in August.
