West Bengal chief secretary Rajiva Sinha, to retire on September 30, is being appointed as chairperson of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC). Chief minister Mamata Banerjee announced this on Twitter. Earlier, she also mentioned that Alapan Bandopadhyay is being appointed as the next Chief Secretary of West Bengal.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Banerjee tweeted: \u201c\u2026outgoing Chief Secretary of West Bengal Shri Rajiva Sinha, has now been appointed the Chairman of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation for a period of 3 years w.e.f 1st October. I thank him for his tireless service to GoWB.\u201d<\/p>\n

HK Dwivedi, the state finance secretary, will be the new home secretary and Manoj Pant will be in charge of the state finance department from October 1.<\/p>\n

Banerjee tweeted: \u201cI\u2019m pleased to announce that Alapan Bandyopadhyay, now Addnl Chief Secy (Home & Information) is appointed as the new Chief Secretary of WB.
