Basirhat North constituency is in North 24 Parganas district. He took up the party flag of Trinamool at the party\u2019s headquarters in Kolkata on the EM Bypass.<\/p>\n<p>Rafikul Islam is an experienced MLA and sources said that some other MLAs are likely to join Trinamool Congress ahead of the Assembly polls of 2021.
