Altogether 4,431 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state on a single day.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are 32,836 COVID-19 patients \u2013 categorised as \u201cactive cases\u201d in the state \u2013 and in the last 24 hours, the number has dropped by 608. So far, 7,452 persons have died from coronavirus in Bengal, including 49 persons in the past one day. The number of new cases in Bengal in the last one day has been 3,872, and 44,131 tests were conducted during this time.
