It has been many years now that the celebrations are held at her place every year on this day.<\/p>\n<p>Even before she became chief minister, Kali Puja at her house on Harish Chatterjee Street in south Kolkata&#8217;s Kalighat has always been an important event. Hundreds of people &#8212; from party workers to senior leaders &#8212; visit her house for the puja and celebrations, and many get to eat the food that she herself cooks.<\/p>\n<p>This year, though, very few people could visit her place because of COVID-19 restrictions.
