The Mamata Banerjee government is taking up its biggest initiative so far to reach its projects door-to-door across the state. There will be 20,000 camps all over the state for ensuring people are benefitting from the state government\u2019s projects. More than 10 senior officials will be in charge of monitoring these camps.<\/p>\n

While chief minister Mamata Banerjee had announced that this project will be launched from December 1, chief secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay on Monday held a press conference to explain the details.<\/p>\n

Whether it is for new registration for any state project or grievances about anything to do with the government initiatives, these camps will ensure there is redressal. These camps will be in place for the next two months. Some of the government\u2019s programmes include Kanyashree, Swasthya Sathi, Oikyoshree and so on. Any query relating to government work and projects will also be available. The state government run website Egiye Bangla will have details of how to go about approaching the government through these camps.<\/p>\n

The camps will be in place at the gram panchayat and municipal ward levels. Senior IAS officers will be nodal officers who will supervise the overall functioning of the camps. The Block Development Officers (BDOs) will themselves be present and the overall progress of work in the camps will be monitored from the state administrative headquarters, Nabanna.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
