The impact of the fall unlocked the safety latch and lead to firing. The woman and her nine-year old child were waiting at Dum Dum Metro station for a train and the constable was close by. While details are still not available, apparently, a bullet hit the wall, flung off and got directed towards them. They were taken to the nearby RG Kar Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The police are investigating how it took place.
