They were asked about their lifestyle, physical and mental health, social support and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Both women and men suffering due to loneliness were found to be three times more exposed to anxiety and depression while their mortality risk also doubled.<\/p>\n<p>Researcher Anne Vinggaard Christensen said, \u201cLoneliness strongly predicts premature death, worse mental health and lower quality of life among the patients with cardiovascular disease in both men and women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lonely people are more vulnerable to heart-related diseases, found a study conducted by Copenhagen University Hospital\u2019s Heart Centre.
