A part of the ancestral house of poll strategist Prashant Kishor\u2019s ancestral house in Buxar, Bihar, was demolished with bulldozers. It is his ancestral home, but Kishor doesn\u2019t live there anymore.<\/p>\n
It was reported that a part of the house was demolished in just ten minutes.\u00a0It has created a stir at the political level. The administration has said that this had nothing to do with the political relations between Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and Prashant Kishor, who was part of Kumar\u2019s Janata Dal (United).\u00a0According to the administration, the demolition was done for road expansion work.<\/p>\n
The house was built by Kishor\u2019s father adjacent to the NH-84. But questions are being raised as to how it can come under government acquired land.\u00a0As per reports, the administration was urging people to vacate the land it had acquired during the widening of National Highway-84.<\/p>\n
Prashant Kishore, who was part of the JD(U), had played a significant role behind the victory of Nitish Kumar in the 2015 Bihar elections. However, Kishor\u2019s relations with Kumar turned sour after the latter joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Kishore started opposing Nitish Kumar on the NRC-CAA issue following which he was expelled from JDU.<\/p>\n
Prashant Kishor is currently in charge of the Trinamool\u2019s election performance in West Bengal in 2021.\u00a0He has come out against the BJP in the election battle in Bengal.\u00a0In this context, the demolition of part of Kishor\u2019s ancestral home in Bihar seems to have added another dimension.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
