The ceasefire decision was taken at the start of the holy month of Ramzan on May 17, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Home minister Rajnath Singh\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_30682396\">on Sunday<\/span>\u00a0morning tweeted that the government had been forced to take such a decision as terrorist groups were trying to destroy the government\u2019s effort in ensuring peace and harmony in the state.
