Union Home Minister Amit Shah released on Sunday in Kolkata the Bharatiya Janata Party\u2019s manifesto for the coming Assembly elections.<\/p>\n
One of the major highlights is the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the 7th pay commission in the state. There is also 33 per cent reservation for women in state government jobs mentioned in the list of promises. While releasing the manifesto, Shah said that refugees who have been staying in Bengal for 70 years will be given citizenship and each refugee family will get Rs 10,000 per year for five years. The manifesto also promised to provide free education for women from kindergarten to the postgraduate level.<\/p>\n
The manifesto also mentions several benefits of Central government schemes, which would be implemented for the people of Bengal. And there is also the promise of Janata canteens, which would provide nutritious food at Rs 5.<\/p>\n
