Shah is in West Bengal on Sunday on various campaigns for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the fifth phase of elections in the state scheduled on April 17.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMamata Banerjee asked people to gherao Central forces and that instigated people to attack the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) in Sitalkuchi. Even now, attempts are being made to politicise the killings,\u201d Shah said at a rally in Santipur on Sunday. \u201cI request the people of Bengal to celebrate the festival of democracy peacefully in the remaining phases,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Mamata Banerjee demanded his resignation as Home Minister after four persons were killed in police firing at Sitalkuchi in Cooch Behar.
