Sinha is the BJP candidate from Habra constituency.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Ghosh had said that \u201cif anyone crosses the line, there will be a repeat of Sitalkuchi\u201d, adding that anyone doubting the use of arms by the Central forces would \u201cfeel the heat of these firearms\u201d. On Saturday, during the fourth phase of polling in the state, <a href=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/bengal-polls-5-killed-in-cooch-behars-sitalkuchi-4-of-them-in-central-forces-firing\/\" data-schema-attribute=\"\"><strong>four persons died as CISF personnel opened fire<\/strong><\/a> following an alleged clash as voting was under way in the Sitalkuchi assembly constituency. Trinamool Congress chief and Bengal chief minister <a href=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/genocide-mamata-banerjee-on-sitalkuchi-violence-bullets-sprayed-to-hit-neck-chest\/\" data-schema-attribute=\"\"><strong>Mamata Banerjee has termed the killings as \u201cgenocide\u201d<\/strong><\/a>, and the party said all four were their supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul Sinha, on Monday said that \u201cNot four, actually eight persons should have been shot dead in Shitalkuchi.&#8221; He was speaking at an election rally in Habra. \u201cAn 18-year-old boy was shot dead in public at a polling station for supporting BJP. And their leader is Mamata Banerjee,\u201d he said referring to the incident in which an 18-year-old boy, a first time voter, was allegedly shot at by Trinamool Congress workers, earlier on the same day in the same constituency.<\/p>\n<p>Sinha said the Central forces responded appropriately in Sitalkuchi adding that they will respond similarly if the same thing takes place again.
