The second dose of COVID-19 vaccine should be delayed by three months for anyone who contracts the virus after the first dose.<\/p>\n<p>The rules are part of the recommendations by NEGVAC \u2013 the National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for COVID-19 led by NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul \u2013 which have been accepted by the Union Health Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Till now, there has been no fixed gap recommended by the Centre for taking a vaccine in such situations.
