Saurav Ganguly, BCCI president and former India cricket team captain, is stable but may not be discharged from hospital today.<\/p>\n

Ganguly was rushed to a city hospital on Monday evening after he tested positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The hospital authorities said that he has been stable. A medical board is keeping a close watch on his health.<\/p>\n

The 49-year-old was admitted to hospital twice earlier this year and underwent angioplasty as he had some cardiac problems.<\/p>\n

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation authorities have meanwhile visited Saurav\u2019s house in Behala and sanitised the entire area. His family members have tested negative for COVID-19.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
