Schools will re-open for students from class 8 to 12. For classes 5-7, there will be a system of taking classes locally. This was announced by chief minister Mamata Banerjee at a press conference in Nabanna today.<\/p>\n<p>The classes for 5-7 has been termed, \u201cparay paray pathshala\u201d (roughly translating to \u201cschools in the neighbourhood\u201d). Other restrictions in view of COVID-19 and Omicron will continue till February 15. Some relaxations have been made though \u2013 like 75 per cent workforce to attend office for government and private organisations.
