Chief Ministers of Opposition-ruled states will soon meet in Delhi to discuss \u201cConstitutional overstepping and brazen misuse of power by the Governors\u201d, it was tweeted by Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin today. He added West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee had suggested the meeting.<\/p>\n
Stalin tweeted: \u201cBeloved Didi @MamataOfficial telephoned me to share her concern and anguish on the Constitutional overstepping and brazen misuse of power by the Governors of non-BJP ruled states. She suggested for a meeting of Opposition CMs.\u201d He also wrote: \u201cI assured her of DMK\u2019s commitment to uphold State autonomy. Convention of Opposition CMs will soon happen out of Delhi!\u201d<\/p>\n
In Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin has accused Governor RN Ravi of blocking the state\u2019s anti-NEET Bill to the Centre which is meant to bypass the national medical entrance exam. Stalin and a few other parties have decided to send again the Bill to the Governor again, demanding that it be forwarded to President Ram Nath Kovind for his assent.<\/p>\n
