Congress leader Rahul Gandhi faced officers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the third consecutive day in connection with the National Herald money laundering case. Congress workers and senior leaders have been protesting on the streets of Delhi for the third day against what they say is the Centre \u201cmisusing\u201d Central probe agencies to target Opposition leaders. Rahul Gandhi has faced 21 hours of questioning in two days.<\/p>\n
Rahul Gandhi reached the ED office at around 11.30 am today accompanied by his sister and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. She left soon after. Congress workers protested on the streets, shouted slogans and were picked up by the police from outside the Congress party headquarters. Earlier, senior party leaders at a press conference accused the Centre of blocking political activities by preventing Congress workers from entering the party office.<\/p>\n
After the second day of questioning on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi along with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, visited their mother Congress President Sonia Gandhi at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where she is admitted with COVID-19 related complications.
