The police arrested six persons in this connection.<\/div>\n<div>\nAccording to police, while the six persons were returning from an official meeting at around <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1087353259\"><span class=\"aQJ\">2:30 pm<\/span><\/span>, the suspected cow smugglers blocked their way at a place near Trangblang village and brutally assaulted them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The village headman, village secretary and another member of the village died on the spot while the police managed to rescue other three members and admitted them to local hospital with serious injuries.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The police nabbed the main accused, his two brothers and their cousin along with two other suspected killers.<\/div>\n<div>\nEarlier this week, the main accused was confronted by the village head when the former was trying to smuggle cattle to the neighbouring country.
