With a certified Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of up to 160 km and advanced safety features, the Rizta marks a strategic shift from the brand&#8217;s performance-heavy 450 series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ather Rizta Range and City Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new scooter is available in two primary variants, the S and the Z, both equipped with a 4.3 kW PMSM motor. Buyers can choose between two battery configurations. The 2.9 kWh pack delivers a claimed range of 123 km, while the larger 3.7 kWh flagship battery pushes the range up to 159 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite its family-first design, the scooter maintains a capable top speed of 80 km\/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km\/h in 4.7 seconds. The vehicle offers two riding modes, Smart Eco and Zip, allowing riders to balance battery efficiency with responsive city navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Designed for Comfort and Utility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving away from sporty and compact frames, the Rizta prioritises space and passenger comfort. It features one of the widest and longest seats in the segment, ensuring ample room for a pillion rider. The flat floorboard provides extra legroom, making it easier for taller individuals to ride comfortably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Storage capacity is a major selling point for the new model. The scooter offers a total of 56 litres of storage space, split between a 34-litre under-seat boot and an optional 22-litre front storage unit. This setup allows families to easily carry full-face helmets, groceries and daily luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart Technology and Safety Upgrades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ather has integrated several modern features to enhance rider safety. The Rizta comes equipped with SkidControl technology to prevent wheel slip on wet or dusty roads, and an Emergency Stop Signal that flashes the tail lights during sudden braking. The scooter also includes a FallSafe system that automatically shuts down the motor in the event of a tip-over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The premium Z variant boasts a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display complete with Google Maps integration and Bluetooth connectivity, while the base S variant utilises a DeepView LCD screen.
