Haq was the sixth president of Pakistan and Pakistan&#8217;s longest-serving de-facto head of state.<\/div>\n<div>\nDuring an interaction with the media, Singh said religious extremism makes terrorism grow, which is a dangerous trend for the country. The current government was promoting such\u00a0extremism\u00a0through so-called Hindutva, he said, adding that the government was acting Haq during whose tenure many terrorist organisations had grown.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Singh said Haq supported various Pakistani militant groups like the Taliban, which actually led to the growth of terrorism in Pakistan.
