He said that the RSS and the BJP were trying to suppress Banerjee\u2019s moves since she was giving them a tough time.<\/p>\n<p>An event in Chicago \u2013 which Mamata Banerjee was scheduled to attend \u2013 was cancelled earlier, and now the programme at St Stephen\u2019s was cancelled too.
