At the media conference held in Kolkata, Ambassador of Guatemala in India, Giovanni Castillo, unveiled the logo of the theme country which read \u201cThe Heart of the Mayan World \u2013 Guatemala\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Book Fair will be inaugurated by the West Bengal chief minister Mamata Bannerjee. The UK, USA, Russia, China, Japan, Vietnam, Bangladesh and 11 Latin American countries will take part in the Fair.\u00a0\u00a0This is the first time, Iran is going to take part in the fair.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Publishers and Booksellers Guild general secretary Tridib Chatterjee has said that even Pakistan has expressed interest in participating this year, provided they get their visa on time.<\/p>\n<p>The 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Kolkata Literature Festival will also be the high point of the Book Fair and will be held from February 7\u00a0to 9.
