The news has been reported by several media organisations which have also carried a photograph purported to be of the slain JeM commander.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.altnews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/indiatoday_kamran.jpg?resize=689%2C634\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The photograph used by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/india\/story\/pulwama-terror-attack-pinglana-encounter-jaish-e-mohammad-kamran-1458570-2019-02-18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>India Today<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in the above report has also been featured by several other media organisations such as\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/abpnewstv\/status\/1097411448131776512?s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABP News<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/amp\/s\/zeenews.india.com\/hindi\/india\/masterminded-pulwama-terrorist-attack-kamran-hilal-and-abdul-rashid-ghazi-killed\/499769\/amp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zee News<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/amp\/news\/india-pulwama-terror-attack-security-forces-start-major-hunt-for-key-conspirator-abdul-rashid-ghazi-location-traced-504680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">India TV<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.outlookindia.com\/website\/story\/india-news-crpf-convoy-attack-mastermind-rashid-gazi-killed-in-pulwama-encounter\/325671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Outlook<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EconomicTimes\/status\/1097426429657128962\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Economic Times<\/em><\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.altnews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Screenshot_20190218-165420_01.jpg?resize=626%2C1024\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The truth of the photograph<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alt News was alerted about this photograph by a social media user who alleged that the face of the terrorist, Abdul Rashid Ghazi was morphed on the body of American pop legend Jon Bon Jovi!<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">So @abpnewstv , <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IndiaToday?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@IndiaToday<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/timesofindia?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@timesofindia<\/a> all used a morphed picture of terrorist ..<br \/>And they morphed the body of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jonbonjovi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@jonbonjovi<\/a> ..<br \/>So patriotic ..<br \/>&#8230;<br \/>I shouldn&#39;t laugh ..<br \/>But .. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ROFLMAO?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ROFLMAO<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QRKmT3cqqM\">pic.twitter.com\/QRKmT3cqqM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Shuvankar Mukherjee (@shuvankr) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shuvankr\/status\/1097418676645425152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 18, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Alt News reverse searched the juxtaposed image in the above tweet and found a photograph of Jon Bon Jovi on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/in.pinterest.com\/pin\/67202219416587983\/?lp=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Pinterest<\/em><\/a>\u00a0which matched with the photograph of Ghazi used by media houses.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.altnews.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/jonbonjovi-1.jpg?resize=767%2C521\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The similarities in both photos are stark- notice the left hand, with the watch and the walkie-talkie. Also, the shape of the right hand and the position of the baton and taser are identical. Alt News found several such photographs of this uniform featuring different individuals.<\/p>\n<p>On further probing, Alt News found an app on Amazon called\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Police-Suit-Photo-Frame-Maker\/dp\/B01CT639UA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Police Suit Photo Frame Maker<\/a>.
