Some of the injured were stated to be critical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; color: black;\">Inspector general of police (Jammu) MK Sinha spoke to the media stating that the explosion seemed to have been \u201claunched from outside\u201d. He noted that the grenade had \u201crolled beneath a bus injuring many people\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; color: black;\">The injured have been taken to hospital and the condition of three persons was stated to be very critical. The officer added that the area has been secured and deployments made to conduct enquiries into the blast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;\">The police were \u201cworking on leads\u201d and there was \u201cnothing very specific\u201d at the moment. It was reported that an eyewitness had parked his bike and heard a \u201cloud sound\u201d and rushed to the spot to discover more than a dozen people badly injured.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; color: black;\">This is not the first incident of a blast in Jammu and Kashmir in the recent past.
