Hyderabad parliamentarian and AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday said that the argument that the poll schedule during the Ramazan month will inconvenience Muslims is totally uncalled for. Yesterday, after the announcement of the poll schedule by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, Trinamool Congress leader Firhad Hakim said that the poll schedule covering the months of April and May \u2013 which are extremely hot and during the Ramazan month \u2013 will inconvenience the Muslims.<\/p>\n
The elections will be held between April 11 to May 19 and results will be declared on May 23.<\/p>\n
Owaisi said: \u201cI would request those political parties that please don\u2019t use the Muslim community and Ramazan for whatever reasons you have.\u201d He said the Muslims will definitely fast, but they also go out and lead a normal life during this period. \u201cMy analysis is that this month will lead to more voting percentage because one will be free from all worldly duties,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
