The tiger population in the country has increased from 2,226 in 2014 to 2,967 in 2018, which is an increase of 33 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister said that what was decided at St Petersburg \u2013 about doubling the target of tiger population \u2013 has been completed four years early.
