And therefore, this year is filled with more promise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The awards are given under three main categories. There are three parts of the Signature Creation category \u2013 the first, in which budget is Rs 40 lakh or more, the second in which the budget is between Rs 20 to Rs 40 lakh and the third, in which the budget is Rs 20 lakh or less. There are also awards on being the best Visual Delight, Global Outreach, Exquisite Idol and Soulful Creation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, a quick look at last year\u2019s winners:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Signature Creation 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Behala Buro Shibtala Jana Kalyan Sangha won last year under this category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6437\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/sig-1-e1567861098160-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Signature Creation 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Behala\u2019s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Barisha Club puja pandal was the winner under this category last year. The pandal d\u00e9cor with paperwork and Madhubani painting was simply stunning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6440\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/visual-delight-e1567861332263-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Global outreach:\u00a0<\/strong>Naktala Udayan Sangha had bagged the award under this category. The theme of their puja was about the passage of time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6441\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/global-outreach-e1567861395309-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Exquisite Idol:\u00a0<\/strong>Talah Pratyoy had bagged the award under this category. You simply couldn\u2019t take your eyes off the idol. The international jury was no less impressed than the local people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6442\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/Exquisite-Idol-e1567861468674-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Soulful Creation:\u00a0<\/strong>Barisha Sharbojanin won the award under this final category. The creations were based on the Jarwa tribe of Andamans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6443\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/soulful-creation-e1567861558522-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s not all. There were some innovative works that the jury members were most impressed with, and they received some special awards. Will the same Puja committees succeed in retaining their positions this year, or will there be new award-winners this time?
