Ten patients were admitted in the CCU when the fire broke out.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters rushed to rescue the patients.<\/p>\n<p>One patient allegedly died and ten had to be shifted to a private hospital. The smoke from the fire led to the death, it was reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and a probe has started. A number of patients were reported to be under trauma due to the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Minister from north Bengal, Goutam Deb said that the hospital has a good fire extinguishing system.
