It was first created by the feminist collective LasTesis, based in the Chilean town Valparaiso, and performed on November 20, 2019 to protest police violence against women and were country-wide demonstrations against the government.<\/p>\n<p>Women from all ages, dressed in black and wearing red scarves and blindfolds sang a song that has now gone viral. It says, \u201cThe fault is not with me, nor where I was, nor how I was dressed\u2026 The rapist is you!\u201d Similar performances have been replicated and staged by women in Paris, Barcelona and Mexico City, in the UK, several cities in India, and many other parts of the world.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, a similar protest demonstration was organised by The Rapist is You \u2013 Kolkata Flash Mob.
