Two first information reports have been lodged against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) West Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh for making inflammatory remarks in a rally on Sunday.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, Ghosh in a public rally in Nadia district said<\/span><\/a> that those involved in damaging public property should be \u201cshot\u201d like they were in BJP-ruled states. He rued that the Mamata Banerjee government had not aimed a single bullet at the shaitans<\/em> doing the same in Bengal.<\/p>\n Two FIRs have since been filed against him for such inflammatory statements, by Trinamool Congress leaders in Nadia\u2019s Ranaghat and in Habra of South 24 Parganas. \nSeveral leaders from various political parties reacted sharply to Ghosh\u2019s remarks including his own party\u2019s Union Minister for state Babul Supriyo. Supriyo condemned Dilip Ghosh<\/span><\/a> and said it was \u201cirresponsible\u201d for him to say so.<\/p>\n
