Another display showed the character Batul the Great, a popular superhero comic strip character created by Narayan Debnath. With Batul being told that \u201cNRC <em>ashchhe<\/em>, <em>palaa palaa<\/em> (Go away, the NRC is coming), the superhero Batul shows an amazing display of his muscle power.\u00a0Most East Bengal fans trace their roots in Bangladesh, who were forced to leave home in East Pakistan during the Partition of 1947.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8190\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/EB-MB1-1200x900.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mohun Bagan fans reciprocated by displaying a banner that showed people in East Bengal jerseys being welcomed by a man in Mohun Bagan colours.<\/p>\n<p>The setting of Sunday&#8217;s match was unusual, highly charged, emotional and a display of camaraderie between the archrivals.
