The cyclonic circulation which caused rainfall in Kolkata and parts of West Bengal for the past three days is slowly moving away towards the north-east. Thus the sky will become clear from Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As the cloud cover subsides, night temperature on Thursday and Friday will drop and the temperature is likely to remain around 17-18\u00b0C. Day temperature on these two days will also remain slightly lower than usual \u2013 the day temperature from Thursday to Sunday has been predicted between 27- 29\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8650\" src=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/S-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1040\" height=\"492\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/S-2.jpg 1040w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/S-2-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/S-2-768x363.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/S-2-1024x484.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1040px) 100vw, 1040px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, day and night temperature in the rest of the south Bengal will remain mostly normal. Officials said that a western disturbance is likely to enter the state shortly, but that will not lead to significant drop in temperature in the south Bengal.
