We all should cooperate,&#8221; she said at a meeting in state administrative headquarters Nabanna. The steps are being taken to reduce the pressure on state hospitals.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Banerjee asked the representatives of private hospitals to be in a Whatsapp group with the health secretary in the state so that they can coordinate smoothly with the state in tackling the situation. She also directed the officials to talk to Centre to give necessary permission to increase the number of testing facilities in the state on an emergency basis.<br \/>\nThe CM asked the hospitals to seek ways of minimizing interaction between people in their outdoor patient departments to check the spread of infection. Banerjee assured people that there will be no shortage of food and instructed the state officials to take anti-hoarding measures.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">An emergency camp will be opened\u00a0 at Beliaghata Infectious Disease (ID) Hospital to temporarily house COVID-19 patients in case of overcrowding.<br \/>\nBeliaghata ID will get 10 ambulances while the private hospitals will get two ambulances each to facilitate the transport of patients.<br \/>\nThe number of beds in isolation ward of Kolkata&#8217;s Beliaghata ID Hospital will be increased to 100 from 22, she said. Another 50 beds would be opened up in RG Kar Medical College Hospital, 150 in M R Bangur Hospital and 500 in the quarantine centre of Rajarhat.
