He had mentioned in the post that this information was \u201cunverified\u201d. Police later said that Aziz\u2019s post had been shared many times and had led to confusion and tension in the area. Later, Md Salim <a href=\"https:\/\/thebengalstory.com\/english\/i-am-the-real-target-of-the-bengal-government-not-my-son-let-the-cid-call-me-md-salim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">said<\/span> <\/a>that it was he, not his son Russel, who was the \u201creal\u201d target of the Trinamool Congress government.<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1695512600\">On Sunday<\/span>, Md Salim further said that Russel had handed over his mobile device, and some data was taken from his social media, but he was not given a seizure list \u201cas per SOP\u201d (standard operating procedure). He added that \u201cthis points to sinister means and intentions\u201d. Salim said they had moved court and following the Calcutta High Court\u2019s directions, Russel had submitted the laptop and SIM card at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) office at Bhawani Bhawan <span data-term=\"goog_1695512601\">on Saturday<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CPM MP, \u201cthe gratuitous effort\u201d that the state was putting into the case made it clear it was \u201cpolitically motivated\u201d.
