They had earlier demanded from the government to fix the milk purchase rate at Rs.27 per litre and complete loan waiver. But neither demand has been met with.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, farmers came up with the same demands, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government did not take necessary steps.
