The Higher Secondary examinations were being conducted from March 13, but the last few papers \u2013 which were scheduled to be held on March 23, 25 and 27 \u2013 had to be postponed indefinitely at that point due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the subsequent lockdown and closure of educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the state government had announced on May 19 that the examination will be held from 29 June. However, the lockdown will continue in the containment zones throughout the month of June. Also, many school buildings in the state have been damaged due to the cyclone Amphan.
