COVID-19 lockdown in Bengal: here’s the full list of which products can be sold from this week

The West Bengal government has allowed certain activities to run during the extended lockdown to contain Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Apart from these, standalone shops across the state, which are outside containment zones, will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm. Barber shops and salons will run in green zones only.

Shops selling following items are allowed to run outside containment zones:

* Agricultural implements, pumps & other devices

* Agricultural products including seeds, oil seeds, etc.

* All consumer durables like refrigerators, TV, kitchen appliances, air conditioners etc.

* All household items, like utensils, cushions, mattress, etc.

* Automobiles including spare parts and lubricants

* Batteries and battery chargers

* Books and stationery items

* Beverages including packaged tea and coffee

* Chemicals

* Cement

* Clocks and watches

* Computer and calculator parts and other Information Technology (IT) products

* Construction materials of any kind

* Edible oil

* Electric cables and wire, switch and other electrical products

* Electrical meters and other electrical products

* Electronic appliances

* Engineering goods

* Fan and fan parts

* Fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, etc.

* Floor and wall tiles of all varieties

* Footwear

* Furniture

* Generators and transformers

* Glassware and glass materials of any kind

* Gold and jewellery

* Granite, marble and other flooring materials

* Handicrafts and decorative materials

* Hardware

* Iron and steel and products

* Jute and jute products

* Laundry

* Machinery and machine parts of all types

* Medical instrument and appliances

* Metals and all products

* Mobile telephone, celluar phone, other communication devices and mobile recharging
