25-year-plan for “Shonar Bangla” in BJP’s manifesto, to be released by Amit Shah

Party manifesto to be released on Sunday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has chalked out a “25-year-plan” in its manifesto for the coming elections in West Bengal. BJP insiders say that instead of planning for only the coming five years in which a government will be in power before the next elections, the party wants to focus on the fact that it has long term goals and plans for the state.

The BJP has prepared its election manifesto scheduled to be released on Sunday in Kolkata. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the manifesto at EZCC, Salt Lake on Sunday.

The manifesto will be packed with promises for the people with a roadmap of development for the state. There are plans for education, a robust health management system, various avenues for employment generation, tourism, and eco-tourism among other things.

A team was constituted by the party for compiling the manifesto. The manifesto also reportedly mentions that the government will ensure putting an end to infiltration from across Bangladesh border and stop the smuggling of cows. Party insiders say that it will also contain the intention of the party to rid the administration of political interference.
