The Classical Singer Raagini Kavathekar is all ready to release her upcoming new Marathi single “Mann dei dilasa”. Although the release schedule was delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic, her upcoming new single number is going to be out very soon including her all-new trailer movie project titled “The Vanishing Corridor”.
After quite some time she’s coming back to the spotlight with a mash-up of two totally opposite Ghazals, which she has beautifully merged together in her new single. “Apni Tasveer ko & Ankhon ka tha quasoor” are the two Ghazals that were released on Saregama. She is one of the pioneers who introduced Indian folk music to the world.
Raagini Kavathekar was born in Bilaspur, Chattisgarh. She came from a musical family background with her father being a renowned tabla player and her mother was an Indian Classical Singer. She topped in all the 26 states of classical music and was given the title ‘Surushree’ by the Legendary Music Composer Ravindra Jain. 7 years back she made her Bollywood debut.
She has made her name not only in the Marathi music industry but in Rajasthani Music Industry as well. ‘Dharti Dhora Ri’, ‘Baisara Beera’ are many of her most popular Rajasthani songs. For a long time, Raagini wanted to make a fusing of different genres for the new generation. And finally, all her hard work is going to be loved by the audience. Her 3 singles,
