A jewellery shop in Gujarat’s Surat is selling rakhis made of gold engraved with photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani, the ANI reported.
The jeweller has reportedly made 50 such rakhis with prices ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 per rakhi, and nearly all have sold out. The shop owner told ANI that women were visiting his store to buy the rakhis hoping their brothers, wearing these rakhis, would earn “name and fame in their respective fields.”
