Left youth organisations march from Singur to Nabanna

As many as twelve Leftist youth organizations led by the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) started a march towards the West Bengal government’s administrative headquarters Nabanna from Singur in Hooghly district, with demands related to unemployment, allowance for the unemployed youths and reduction of educational expenses.

The march began on Thursday and will continue till tomorrow. It will stop at Hooghly’s Dankuni on the first day. The next day it will reach Howrah district and there will be a gathering at the Howrah station premises. From there on the procession will head towards Nabanna.
