CID finds huge amount of cash from fish trader in Malda
The source of the money was not disclosed by officers yet.
The Bengal government’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Sunday found huge amount of cash from the house of a fish trader in Malda’s Gajole. A machine to count the cash has now been taken to the house. The name of the trader is Joyprakash Saha.
On Sunday, a CID team raided the house of the trader at around 12 noon and unearthed huge amount of cash. A police contingent has now been guarding the house. Officers estimated that the amount of cash could be over one crore rupees. Why the cash was stored in the house has not been disclosed by officers yet.
