Complete lockdown was implemented across West Bengal on August 31. The Bengal government has decided to implement a bi-weekly lockdown across the state to contain the spread of COVID-19. Complete lockdown was implemented on August 5 (Wednesday), 8 (Saturday), 20 (Thursday), 21 (Friday), 27 (Thursday) and 31 (Monday) in West Bengal.
