Mamata Banerjee wishes PM Modi on his birthday, leaves for Delhi

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday on Tuesday.

She took to Twitter to wish the PM on his birthday. “Birthday greetings to Prime Minister @narendramodi ji”, the Bengal CM wrote in her official Twitter handle.

Banerjee left for Delhi this afternoon for various meetings in the capital for the next three days. She will call on the PM tomorrow at 4:30 pm regarding issues concerning West Bengal.

The Prime Minister is in Gujarat on his 69th birthday. He visited the Statue of Unity by the Sardar Sarovar Dam, participated in a puja that is part of the Namami Devi Narmade Mahotsav being held by the state government seeking to mark the rise of water level to its highest point in the Narmada Dam. The dam had been inaugurated by Narendra Modi in 2017.
