Saurav Ganguly stable, but may not be discharged from hospital today
He has tested positive for COVID-19.
Saurav Ganguly, BCCI president and former India cricket team captain, is stable but may not be discharged from hospital today.
Ganguly was rushed to a city hospital on Monday evening after he tested positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The hospital authorities said that he has been stable. A medical board is keeping a close watch on his health.
The 49-year-old was admitted to hospital twice earlier this year and underwent angioplasty as he had some cardiac problems.
The Kolkata Municipal Corporation authorities have meanwhile visited Saurav’s house in Behala and sanitised the entire area. His family members have tested negative for COVID-19.
