Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has been diagnosed with respiratory tract infection and is under close observation, said a health bulletin from the Congress. She was admitted to hospital recently with post COVID complications.
She was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi last week after bleeding from the nose. According to senior leader Jairam Ramesh, a fungal infection was diagnosed in her lower respiratory tract after she was admitted to hospital. She is being kept under observation and is undergoing treatment.
