Artist Suvaprasanna & Trinamool leader Samir Chakraborty summoned by ED
They have been summoned on different dates.
Artist Suvaprasanna and Trinamool Congress leader Samir Chakraborty have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. Sources said that Chakraborty has been called on March 12 and Suvaprasanna has been summoned on March 15.
Sources said further that Suvaprasanna had sold a news channel to Saradha boss Sudipta Sen. The transactions are being probed by the ED. Suvaprasanna will be questioned about this. Trinamool Congress leader Samir Chakraborty too will be questioned regarding the Saradha chit fund scam. He is a Trinamool MLA but isn’t contesting polls this time.
Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress MP and candidate from Sabong, Manas Bhunia has also been summoned for a probe. Bhunia has been called by the CBI regarding the I-Core chit fund probe.
