Coronavirus in India: 75 districts lockdown, trains, metro, inter-state buses stopped

Railway, Metro and inter-state bus service is being stopped across the country to stop the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) along with lockdown in 75 districts.

The total number of affected people in India was 341 on Sunday at 2.30 pm, with five dead and thousands under quarantine.

The railways today announced passenger train services till March 31. Complete lockdown has been announced in Punjab and Rajasthan already, apart from near lockdown in West Bengal from 5 pm on Monday. This includes public transport, shops apart from restaurants that were ordered to be closed earlier. Only essential services will operate during this time in the areas notified.
