The number of containment zones in Kolkata has now increased to 1,595. There are currently 5,258 active cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in West Bengal, with the total number of those who tested positive increasing to 13,090 (till June 19).
Kolkata has recorded the highest number of cases among all the districts in the state – with 4,400 cases. There have been 322 deaths from COVID-19 in Kolkata, and 1,866 persons have been discharged so far.
